Rodin and Dance, exhibition

From Saturday, April 7 2018 to Sunday, July 22 2018

Sculptural grace.

For spring 2018, the Rodin Museum takes a look at Rodin's fascination with the world of dance. The exhibition will revolve around the famous series Mouvements de danse. This series of around fifty drawings was never exhibited during the sculptor's lifetime.
Rodin's interest in dance will be evoked through his encounters with dancers of his time, such as Isadora Duncan, Loïe Fuller, the Cambodian Dancers and Hanako the Japanese dancer.
The exhibition brings together several exceptional works encompassing sculptures, photographs, drawings and antiques, immersing you in a world of grace and poetry.
