Art and social action.
This exhibition invites visitors to consider the importance of the works of art by Keith Haring, both historically and politically. His drawings in the subway, paintings and sculptures were designed to deliver messages of social justice and change. He fought against racism, for emancipation and the abolition of apartheid in South Africa but also offered an anti drugs message and helped raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic.
